 Latisha is an amazing breeder and I would recommend anyone serious about an Alapaha to contact her. She is very active in the process of making the decision on which pup would fit your family and stays in communication with the families that purchase. I researched breeders for months and Latisha immediately caught my attention and I couldn’t be happier! My family has grown by TWO MTA Alapaha’s!!!  Just needed to take a second to thank you for my best friend, Tish, Axle is amazing.... he is without a doubt my other half. This creature is the most perceptive, loving caring guy I have ever seen. I lost my aunt last week and Axle never left my side was so low key and snuggly then I got sick and he is so attentive to the point that we had to bring food and water in my bedroom because he wouldn’t leave me to eat or drink. He would only leave to go outside to potty and then would run as fast as he could to get back to me. He is an angel without a doubt 

Why are the pups so expensive? We put a lot of time and money into our dogs and pup pups. They are all raised indoors as part of our family. Our pups come to you healthy, and socialized and well behaved. Money from litters is used for xrays, heart ultrasounds / certifications, embark dna tests, puppy crates, vaccinations, deworming, microchips, Confirmation shows and working events to become champions, quality food, and toys for the pups.

Even though Alapahas dont have to be delivered through c-section, we feel it is better for our females to be delivered in an hour instead of spending 24 hours delivering pups. Especially when they are having up to 10 pups at time.

Do you health test? Absolutely . We are a strong advocate for the embarkvet dna health testing. It doesn't just let you know if the parents are positive or negative for a certain disease, but it also lets you know if dogs are compatible to be bred together or not. All MTA dogs and future mates must be embarked before breeding takes place. We have seen all of our dogs hip xrays also. There is no displaysia in MTA bulldogs. And although displaysia can occur in the pups even though the parents have good hips, MTA will guarantee your pup to be healthy or a refund or a replacement pup will be given.

How often do you have litters? Usually twice a year

Do you ship? NO. We do not put puppies under airplanes. It is much more cost effective and faster to just fly here and carry your puppy home under your seat on the airplane.
