Health tested and very socialized Maine Coon kittens.

We do complete dna and heart echocardiograms on all our Queens and Kings. Each litter is PCR tested before leaving and must be clear of parasites and must pass their vet check.

The kittens receive two core vaccines and microchips and come with registration pet papers for TICA. Most of the cats are imported or are my grand kittens from my imports that I have kept in my program. I am on my 3rd generation of healthy lines. Half the cats I have purchased have not made the cut and were fixed and placed in pets homes verses being bred. What sets me apart from other breeders is, I do NOT just buy the cheapest cats I can find for breeding just to make a profit like others.

Reputable Maine Coon breeders are very selective about who gets breeding rights. Think of it less like “buying a cat” and more like being invited into a conservation program. Here’s what they typically look for 👇

They want to know you understand the breed and are committed to improving it—not just producing kittens.

Familiarity with Maine Coon genetics, standards, and common health issues
Clear stance against overbreeding, backyard breeding, or designer trends
Willingness to mentor, learn, and follow best practices

🏥 Health testing commitment (non-negotiable)

Breeding rights usually require you to prove you’ll do full health screening, often including:

HCM (echocardiogram by a cardiologist)
Hip dysplasia screening
SMA, PKD, and other DNA tests
Regular vet care and documentation
Many breeders will ask where you’ll test and how often.

🐾 Breeding goals that align with theirs

They’ll ask questions like:

Why do you want to breed Maine Coons?
What traits are you aiming to preserve or improve?
Are you breeding for standard, health, temperament—not just size or color?

If your goals don’t align with theirs, it’s usually a no.

🏠 Home environment & animal care

Tica show participation

Our Maine Coons have attended a TICA cat show and have been called wonderful examples of the breed. Khaleesie has already received her Championship title. Her and Jon Snow both received first place awards.

Health Testing

We test our cats through CatScan. We tests for 120+ traits and health genetics which our cats are all negative for.

Our cats are also tested through our vet for Feline Leukemia (FeLV), Feline AIDS (FIV) and are negative.

All Maine Coons in our breeding program are DNA tested for Congenital HCM, PKD, and SMA.

Congenital HCM is a congenital heart defect found in 3 out of every 10 Maine Coons. The genetic testing will reveal if they carry the gene for it and if they will develop it later or pass it down to kittens. Congenital HCM will show up between 1 and 4 years old, and it is not curable. Both parents need to be tested to ensure that the kitten does not have the Congenital HCM gene.
